I build things to answer questions I couldn’t get a straight number for, and write up what they turn out to say. Mostly about how Indian markets actually price things — consumption, healthcare, talent.
Built
- Real Rate What would you need to earn there to live the way you live here? Nine questions about how you actually spend become your own consumption basket, and the answer is computed after tax on both sides. Reproduces the World Bank factor as a control, then shows what your basket does to it.
- UnDo A Chrome extension that will not let you write a task down until you have said whether it is urgent and whether it is important.
Writing
- PPP Is Not a Fact About a Country Every salary converter runs on a basket of cereals, rent and fuel. Urban Gen Z does not spend against it. The real ratio is closer to 1.7:1 than 3:1.
- People I’m Long On Four people I have watched up close who are, in my reading, badly underpriced by everyone who hasn’t met them.
Investment theses
- Patient-Specific Implants Custom 3D-printed prosthetics and implants in India. Why the constraint was never the printer.
- India’s Foreigner-First Hospital Brand India is already a medical tourism hub with no globally trusted brand. Build a Cleveland Clinic-level moat, priced like India.
